Choosing the right roller banner
Start with the space where the banner will stand. Check the available floor area and height, where visitors will approach from and whether the display needs to be seen from one side or both. A wider banner gives you more room for artwork, but it also needs more space around it to be read comfortably.
The stand matters as much as the print. If you expect to use the banner regularly, tell us how often you will transport and assemble it. We can then discuss the available stand options and the practical difference between a display for occasional use and one intended for repeated events.
Roller banners are principally for indoor use. If your display needs to stand outside, tell us where it will go and how it will be secured. A printed banner may be more suitable for some outdoor locations.
For a larger exhibition backdrop, a pop up display stand may suit the space better. A roller banner remains a useful choice when you need a smaller display that can stand on its own.
Design your message for people walking past
Someone passing your stand may only look at the banner for a few seconds. Give them a clear headline, recognisable branding and one main point to remember. Supporting details can sit below that, but avoid making every line equally prominent.
Think about where the banner will stand. If a table or counter will be placed in front of it, keep essential information where it can still be seen. Leave space around text and logos so the design remains clear when printed at full size.
Each stand has its own artwork dimensions and an area of print that sits inside the base. Ask for the template for your chosen system before finalising the design. A general bleed measurement cannot replace the specifications for the actual stand.

That depends on the stand and the condition of its mechanism. Send us a photograph and its dimensions so we can check whether a replacement graphic is practical.
