Boardroom Wall Graphics from Hand Drawn Illustrations

These boardroom wall graphics began with hand illustrations created by CUDOS Creative. Printmonster printed and fitted the finished artwork across a wall measuring about six metres in total, continuing the illustration over the door to create one complete view when it is closed.

Artwork designed for the room

Illustrations give a wall a different character from a simple logo or block of text. In this project, CUDOS Creative used hand illustrations to create the artwork that would fill the boardroom wall.

Their creative work formed the design, while Printmonster handled the printing and fitting. It is a practical example of how we can work alongside a designer or agency to turn supplied artwork into custom wall graphics.

A textured finish for the printed illustrations

We printed the artwork on a self adhesive vinyl wall covering with a subtle textured finish. This gave the illustrations a decorative surface rather than the appearance of an ordinary smooth sticker.
The covering is designed for use without a separate laminate. Choosing a material intended for wall decoration helped bring the printed design into the room as a finished feature.

Continuing the design across the door

The wall measured approximately six metres in total, but the design did not stop at the doorway. We also fitted matching printed vinyl to the door.
With the door closed, the illustration continues across it and reads as one complete view. The door remains a working part of the room while also becoming part of the artwork.
This is a useful option to consider when a doorway sits within a feature wall. Its position can be included in the design from the beginning, rather than leaving a gap in the finished image.

From supplied artwork to fitted wall graphics

The finished boardroom brings together CUDOS Creative’s illustrations and Printmonster’s print and fitting work. It shows how a large wall and a door can work together as one illustrated feature.

Can printed wall coverings be removed later?

Removal depends on the material and the condition of the surface beneath it. Adhesive wall coverings can affect paint when removed, so tell us if the display needs to be temporary before we recommend a material.
